The Old Croak may be named after an ancient embalming fluid, but silly names are where the similarities between James Rogers' latest band effort and this now-obsolete product end. Rogers has formulated a sound that manages to walk the often blurry line between originality and influence of artists from decades past with confidence. This success makes The Old Croak an enjoyable and must-listen experience.
