Born in Northern-borders of India, Punjab, raised in the Dirty South of New Zealand, Auckland & residing in suburban Sydney. J-Sher started raping and music making at the age of 11. J-Sher; the name derives from the meaning word 'Sher', meaning 'Lion'. "Everybody called me a 'Sher' which would mean 'attaboy' in a sense." Writing his own lyrics, making his own instrumentals and prroducing his own music, J-Sher says he has big plans for the coming years and strives for nothing more than to get to the top. Liking to be referred to more as a musician than a rapper as his musical characteristics form more than just the average hip hop music.
