Formed in September 2006, Two youngens with similar musical influences. They keep it simple... yet gnarly. From humble beginnings, Damo met Brittany through school. The two shared similar music tastes and decided to create a two piece band. Using the name Jack and Jill from the well known nursery rhyme and also due to the coincidence that Damo's middle name happened to also be Jack and Brittany's middle name being similar to Jill. " Its really about simplicity and easy format, low numbers, and the freedom to write with similar likes and dislikes" says Damo, "I think it really rounds down to the number two, two people, two instruments a piece and if it doesn't work out the first time it will work out the second".

We can be the apple of your eye, yet nonexistent, we can play our tune at main stage, and you'll cry if you miss it. If too accompany the atmosphere, is our role. Then we play along quietly, using the soul. Be it out side at a festival, with the fauna and flora. Or down at the cafe, playing in the corner.
