Jacket Weather is a 4 piece alternative rock band from Sydney. Founded by the members of Groove City as a vehicle to pursue some of their other musical and stylistic interests, Jacket Weather crystallises their shared love of 70’s and 80’s yacht rock sounds, as well as the diet of 2000’s indie and garage rock that they grew up on.  As such, this is a song focussed project with a strong emphasis on male vocal harmony, layered guitars, melodic bass lines and a signature groove that is present in everything these players do.  With two EP’s out already this year and a 3rd just around the corner, Jacket Weather are gearing up to take the stage and bring you a show that will hit hard as a rock, yet smooth as Italian leather - they’re suited, booted and ready for your listening pleasure.
