Jacks Agenda formed late 2005, comprising a myriad of influences, forged with a strong technical ability. Jacks Agenda's band members have been involved in the music industry for years, under various guises. Based in Hobart, Tasmania the guys have managed to create their own sound, describable as metalcore (a combination of heavy metal and hardcore). A 4-piece band, Jacks Agenda manages to produce a full bodied sound with one guitar, kit, bass and vocals. Their sound is technical and tight, heavy and soundscapic. Riff-based music layered with a combination of vocal styles... high-pitched screams, deep gutteral growls, sweeping melodies and staccatic emphases. The combination of these vocal styles lead Jacks Agenda to evolving into their own sound, not afraid to experiment with the emotional evocation many different forms of metal can take its audience.
