Melbourne born songwriter turned producer Jacky Winter, blazed electric guitar and sang solo for 5 years, earning supports for Gareth Liddiard, Dan Kelly and Bon Iver. As a touring guitarist for Phrase in 2011 he became obsessive with 90's NYC Hip-Hop in particular Wu-Tang Clan, bought a MPC2500 and started making beats. Since then he has been collaborating with friends Spencer Dyson (The Bowers), Ella Thompson & Graeme Pogson (Bamboos), Liam McGorry (Saskwatch), Jarrad Brown (Eagle & The Worm), Brendan Huntley (Eddy Current Suppression Ring), Davey Lane (You Am I), Cameron Stops (Legends of Motorsport) Gerald Wells (Baptism of Uzi). No rapping, still singing from the gut, this is White Soul with slamming breaks and loose electric guitars
