Jacob Funnell is an amazing acoustic guitar player, (wicked on electric too!), with a unique and distinctive style in part inspired by Australian guitar masters Tommy and Phil Emmanuel. While it is amazing to hear Jacob, watching him play offers a new level of amazing. Jacob sometimes hits the guitar body to intermittently play rhythms between picking and strumming, while his finger tips also tap out musical lines as harmonics simultaneously. In one song called Knowing, Jacob moves the capo in the middle of a fast chord progression. Fault with Question from Jacob's Sunrise EP, has also been selected for inclusion in the Sounds Like Cafe compilation album alongside Paul Kelly and others. Audiences generally get a “stunned mullet” expression on seeing his agility, ability and natural showmanship as a performer. His talent as a composer and playing skill is very rare - at age 18, even more rare - to the point of being globally unique. Jacob’s debut EP Sunrise on Chance MUSIC out in
