Edit history

Jacob’s Warning happened as a band because of a recording session that went better than expected. The intention was to get some acoustic tracks down for posterity purposes. Josh and I (Rob) wanted some songs recorded and when Jake (sound man) heard the songs he became more certain that other people needed to hear them as well. A couple of weeks later we formed Jacob’s Warning and the fun began. Rob Escott: lead vocal, rhythm guitar, slide guitar and harmonica Josh Frith: backing vocal, lead and rhythm guitar, slide guitar and occasional mandolin Jake Byers: backing vocals, bass guitar and sound man duties John McInerney: drums Classification of style is a little problematic. There is definitely a chunk of Country, but there is also Blues, Bluegrass, Rockabilly, Rock & Roll and just plain Rock......keeps it interesting. The inclusion of John on drums has come along in time to start on our second album which we are all looking forward to. Also thanks to John joining we can now seriously launch into gigging and spreading the good word... Jacob’s Warning
