Jacob Vincent takes the rough and tumble spirit of Americana music, infusing it with distinctive hues of Australian storytelling. On the cusp of global pandemic, Jacob poured every cent he had (and some he didn’t) into his debut EP, 'Cold & Blue,' a labour of love that laid the foundation for his burgeoning career. Despite limited live performances, he honed his craft in the crucible of intimate pub venues In 2023 the singer-songwriter captivated audiences as a finalist in the prestigious Toyota Starmaker, while at this year’s Tamworth Country Music Festival he shared the bill with Kelly Cork on a sold out show. Venturing into the hallowed confines of multi-award winning producer, Shane Nicholson's 'The Sound Hole,' Jacob embarks on a new chapter - crafting his debut album. Its first single, 'What Would I Say', arrives on April 5th. Written alongside poet Colin DeFries at the DAG Sheep Station songwriting retreat, the song offers a poignant reflection on the lives of ANZAC soldiers.
