Melbourne-born and raised, Jacqui Beaa has been immersed in music since the age of four when she picked up her first guitar. Jacqui Beaa spent most of her childhood and teen years song-writing, then began performing covers at local bars and pubs at 18, quickly finding a passion for the live music scene across Melbourne. At the age of 20, Jacqui Beaa shifted gears to explore the world of acting and performing arts, writing and starring in two short films, as well as acting in several more. During this time, she also self-taught piano and co-wrote a mini musical for the 2023 Melbourne International Comedy Festival, reigniting her love for music creation. Now fully back into the music scene, Jacqui Beaa is gearing up for the release of her debut single, set to drop on October 11, 2024. Inspired by artists like Ed Sheeran, Maggie Rogers, Aurora, Paramore, and fellow Aussie G Flip, Jacqui Beaa blends pop, indie, and rock into a unique sound that is both emotive and dynamic.
