Jade Monkey was formed on the first day of 2010, after roughly 12 months of trying to think of a band name. The band setup is a pretty traditional guitar-guitar-bass-drums 4 piece, but with other aspects unusual for modern pop-rock like 3 part harmony and dual lead guitars. After almost a year of playing gigs and writing music, our debut CD "Smile" was released on october 2nd. It's available through Itunes, Amazon, Napster, and almost every other online digital music retailer. Grab a copy if you're interested, and don't hesitate to contact us through myspace, youtube, facebook, or even just send us a personal email. We won't bite :) Hope you like our music, and maybe we will see you around at one of our gigs.
