Imagine: you're sitting on your bed, headphones on, and the entrancing voice Jade Say transports you to another dimension as you stare out your window. The Sydney-based singer-songwriter specialises in mixing bedroom-pop beats with chilled out vibes through her thoughtful lyrics and with a voice thats hard to forget. The 24-year-old's love of music stems from musical theatre, growing up with songs from Wicked and Beetlejuice. As she progressed through her musical journey, Jade Say (real name Olivia Simmonds) listened to the likes of Vera Blue, Melanie Martinez and Eves Karydas, carefully studying their sounds to inspire her own. Through her music degree, she learned to focus her craft and found love for creating electronic and indie-pop music. Stay tuned for more from Jade Say this year including music, merch and shows.
