Melbourne band Jaded Temple are used to exhilarated fans coming up to them after one of their sweaty shows to say they dont know how to describe their sound. "We dont mind, because we in the band ourselves find it hard to put a definition on it too", admits singer and guitarist David Leamon, who is also the bands main songwriter. "As individuals, our favourite bands always seemed to have a lot of variety. When we first started the band in 2003, we knew there would be an undercurrent of funk, rock and roots in the music, but I like to think it's evolving into something entirely unique."
