Australian contemporary R&B songstress Jai Merakai is breaking into the scene with her honest lyrics and light-heartedness which gives her smooth R&B music the perfect balance of sass and playfulness. Raised in Melbourne, Jai is continually inspired by her city to create and experiment through her music. Sharing her passion for music for most of her life. Performing and writing music all throughout her youth. Feeling the urge to have more control over her creativity and craft, Jai put her time to use throughout the long lockdowns of Melbourne and started teaching herself how to produce and make her own beats. Taking a wide range of inspiration from artists such as Ariana Grande, Kehlani and J.Cole. Jai’s music is continuously evolving as she grows and experiments.
