What do you get when you mix catchy pop melodies with heartbreaking ballads? Jaime Willson. The 25-year-old, born and raised in country SA (Kadina), developed her signature smooth but powerful vocal style whilst playing piano as a child but it wasn’t until high school that her passion for songwriting was recognised. Since then, Jaime was a winner in the 2018 SCALA (Songwriters, Composers and Lyricists Association) FOOM Competition for her original song 'Postcard', and has completed her first class honours degree in Popular Music and Creative Technologies. She released her debut single 'Game Changer", which received over 600,000 views on YouTube. In October 2020, she released her debut album of the same name, which has since then received thousands of streams. Compared to artists such as Adele and Sia, Jaime’s music is uniquely emotional and intriguing. Her hook-laden stories will be in your head for days and on your top ten for weeks.
