Best known for his stint in Something With Numbers and Maniac, Jake Grigg is an Aria nominated songwriter and vocalist. Based on the NSW Central Coast, Jake found success with his band Something With Numbers in 2006 with the song “Apple Of The Eye”. In 2010, SWN went on hiatus as Jake formed the duo Maniac where he teamed up with Shawn Harris (The Matches) and relocated to Los Angeles. Maniac released two records in the USA and Europe and toured regularly across the states. After 3 years in the USA Jake hitchhiked from LA to New York with nothing but a ukulele and a passport, leaving money and his phone behind. This life changing experience was the start of the next chapter for Jake’s career. He returned to Australia in 2013 and started writing songs with a new approach to life and music. Jake is set to release his debut solo EP “Can Ruin Pain” in 2015. Taking a step back from heavily produced rock music and delving into new sounds.
