Jakob Grimm is a trombonist based in Munich. A founding member of the brass quartet Tetra Brass, he also runs simoc records and teaches ensemble conducting. Trained originally in jazz, he moves freely between notated and improvised music, treating them as two paths to one sound that speaks directly. His debut solo album, LAMENTO, was released in 2026.
