James Grace is from the Gold Coast in Australia. In this album he revisits some influences from the late 80's and early 90's, where the wall of sound and the slightly unimpressed tone combine to create a pensive moment of adult angst in a world where pop remains king. James Grace is unsigned, but currently in mastering for an 11 track album with the reknowned mastering artist Steve Smart from Studios 301. Influences range from Concrete Blonde, through Nick Cave, Joy Division, to Pink Floyd, Afghan Wigs, and the Pixies.
