James is a young man from the NSW town of Kempsey. James has grown up in a musical family, often singing with his sister Emily and recording with his father or performing at open mic and the odd show with Emily. James’ song writing and musicianship has developed rapidly over the last 12 months. His influences are diverse and include Leon Bridges, Lime Cordiale, Childish Gambino, Dylan, The Beatles and more. The plan for now is to keep writing and producing in the home studios, do some live shows to pay the bills and finish high school this year with a view to a gap year and then back in to studying production, writing and performing at a music college.
