<a href="http://www.jamesparry.com" target="_blank">James Parry</a> is a singer-songwriter from Hobart, Tasmania. After playing in several collaborative bands he took the solo dive and released an EP, Eastern Shores, in 2008, and an album, Almost at the Ivory, in 2011. He has supported such quality Australian acts as Alex Lloyd, The Gin Club, Leah Flanagan and a hive of other visiting artists in Hobart, as well as playing five interstate tours and gigging in the UK. James plays regularly in Hobart with his five-piece band or as a stripped-back duo, his live performances connecting his guitar and voice with a refreshing physical openness as he tells stories about trying to make sense of a mad world.
