I’m James Vass, a 21-year-old singer-songwriter from Melbourne, Australia. My music is a blend of pop, folk, and a little rock, inspired by the heartfelt stories I love to tell through my lyrics. I started sharing covers and original songs on YouTube when I was 14. Honestly, singing on stage terrified me back then, but putting myself out there online helped me face that fear and connect with an amazing audience who supported me. In 2024 I had the honor of being a contestant on Season 13 of The Voice Australia, where I worked with Guy Sebastian. It was an unforgettable experience that pushed me to grow as an artist and share my voice with a national audience. Now, I’m focused on performing locally and writing more original music that speaks to my journey. I’m so excited to share these songs with you all and continue building this dream.
