With an eclectic mix of influences, and years of performance experience under his belt, 21 year-old singer/song-writer Jamie Hogg is taking on the Brisbane music scene head on, and leaving nothing but awe and anticipation in his wake. Graduating with a Bachelor of Music from QUT this year, Jamie is well-rehearsed in preparation for the global stage. Even prior to picking up guitar at the age of eleven, musical influences such as Santana, Keith Urban and Mark Knopfler have punctuated his life for as long as he can remember. His self-produced EP, People Who Barely Know You, was released in earlier this year, with his brother Sam taking on a major role in its production. Sam Hogg also plays drums in Jamie’s live performances, alongside long-time schoolmate Sam Quint featuring on guitar, and uni friend Henry Wilkinson on bass.
