Jamil. The Music began in 2019 as a recording project. A singer/songwriter of various descent whose musical influence was sparked by the giants of the rock, blues, punk, jazz and classical music. Playing on different instruments in a wide variety of bands honed a talent for creating in the moment and serving to the groove, musically painting a blank canvas in different tones of melody and rhythm. “Some groups like to write in the moment with each member present, bringing the musical ideas together as a team and bouncing off each others’ inspirations. Some prefer to write by themselves and delegate parts to different players. Each way is challenging in its own but reaching the feeling of the song made by a lifetimes’ musical inspiration and practice is most rewarding. A huge benefit for the artistic vision of Jamil. The Music to have composed and performed with such a diverse range of musicians.” Debut single Strawberry Girl released September 2020 carries a dreamy atmosphere
