Jampara (The Bata Lion) is originally from Burundi & has been a pioneer of African reggae in the Netherlands since 1990. Since originally performing with The Wailers, Jampara has become a favorite live act in the Dutch reggae scene with his own band - combining distinctive Burundi drum rhythms & percussion to create roots music that sings the songs of life & moves to the heartbeat of Africa.
