My name is Jarrah. I'm a Progressive Metal musician. I write, record and mix all of my own work. I play mainly keyboard and guitar.

Jarrah is a 23 year old singer/songwriter from the lower Blue Mountains. Indie Folk songs packed with deep lyricism, global and personal observations as well as intricate acoustic guitar playing is what you can expect to hear at any of Jarrah’s gigs. He draws inspiration from the likes of Bob Dylan, John Mayer, Ziggy Alberts and Passenger.

Energetic, upbeat and haunting harmonies, JARRAH's contemporary Koori music is a positive sharing of culture, love and life through song. We have played at gigs which include: *St Kilda Festival * Brunswick St Festival * The Melbourne Show Jarrah's new independent Cd "Down on the Mish" has just been released and is about to be launched. A polished recording of contemporary folk rock a culmination of 5 years of writing by singer songwriter Gavin Somers, consisting of 12 original tracks reflecting the bands roots featuring strong acoustic rhythms and rich vocal harmonies.
