Jasmine's songwriting combines strikingly poetic lyrics with imaginative, yet honest, musical ideas. Her work has received recognition in several competitions. In 2009, she was a semi-finalist in the U.K. Songwriting Competition and winner of the Bermagui Seaside Fair Music Competition. Earlier this year, she was a finalist in the 2010 Songsalive Songwriting Competition. Jasmine returned to Australia from London at the end of 2008 and her engaging live performances have been gaining an enthusiastic following on the local scene. Some of the venues to which she has been invited to perform include: the Dream Machine, London; The River Bar, London; Kenny's Castaways, New York City; the tall ship James Craig, Sydney Harbour; Ruby's Kitchen; the Locavore; Mars Hill Cafe; and the Excelsior Hotel.
