Chosen Ones are a four piece reggae band from Melbourne Australia, that infuse their sound with Island Reggae and R&B subtleties. If Third World and Stevie Wonder had ever been shipwrecked on a desert island in the Pacific, the music may have sounded something like Chosen Ones. The message is that life here on earth is short, but also beautiful. That each day, like each human being, is different but also perfect. That our world only becomes whole when fear fades before the truth. Chosen Ones E.P. Review "Now that most Jamaican music has ceded to guns & gals-themed dancehall style, it's heartening to witness real reggae roots flowering elsewhere on the globe, especially Australia. The authentic, potent new album by Chosen Ones, led by drummer/frontman Jason Heerah, hits as deep as any classic roots rock, serving up those authentic, rumbling one drop grooves to beam an essential message, that the human condition can be transformed.
