Jay is a new artist becoming who he was born to be, not only as a musician but as a person. Jay is currently midway through female-to-male gender transition, embracing personal expression via rich, perfect vocal sounds, songwriting born entirely from emotional need, and the most all-encompassing of physical reinvention. Based in Melbourne, music knows no category for this 18-year old, and he aims to show the world the powerful truth his gender transition will bring to this theme. Embracing a dark electro-pop texture, his approach seeks to merge the deep pain and the liberating joy in this one-of-a-kind musician.
