Jay Breakspear emerged late 2015 from a cloning vat in a Western Australian desert. Sporting a battered MacBook Pro, second hand clothes and a stolen guitar, the freshly concocted Jay informed the surrounding sand and petrified trees that he'd been scraped from the mouth of Hackney-based musical clap-out Jules Kirby, brewed in a character-enhancing broth of Little Village pale ale and ground up Radiohead CDs, and released far back to the other end of his migratory trail to develop a mind of his own without disturbing the neighbours. Jay's debut Going Going EP was released January 2016 and will be followed mid-year by the All Bar You EP. Meanwhile Jay's been recording tunes at the fab Stick Studios on Mt Dandenong just outside Melbourne.
