Songstress Jess Heinnen rises from Melbourne and has been performing to bar flies on the Victorian pub circuit for many years. Performing at venues such as The Empress, The Great Britain Hotel, The Clifton Hill Hotel, The Rainbow and The Palais she has also held summer residencies at coastal Victorian pubs and bars letting loose her breathy, soulful, steamin’ vocals to the good people of urban and regional Victoria. It wasn’t until 2006 that she began collaborating with The Filthy Souls, made up of Esky, Sherman Marks and producer Alexander Adiels on a few tracks that she let loose her sweet vocal finesse and effervescent lyrical style that went hand in hand with the boys from the Filthy Souls and led her to working alongside F.Coin, Rick Flu and Adiels in the prelude to what is Stamped Sounds.
