If a musician had to be a household appliance, Jess Maynard would be a washing machine. She said so. Her music is a mish-mash of colours and styles, all thrown in together to create a bubbly concoction of clean, fluid fun. But of course, the suds would be environmentally friendly, and the water would be saved and used on the garden. Yes, it is the simple things in life that inspire this young singer songwriter. The ordinary is the extraordinary as Jess makes every day words sound unexpectedly beautiful. Playing pubs in NSW from the North Coast to the Central West, Jess has gained experience with a variety of audiences. Jess has played to a few festivals, a few parties, a few fundraising events, and to a few campfires after a few good drinks with a few good men and women. Everyone enjoys the seemingly uncomplicated music of this young girl. Like a good washing machine, she will momentarily wash away your troubles; make your colours brighter and whites whiter.
