Born and bred in the Midwest USA, Jesse Lee has an intimate understanding of the four seasons, of farming and fishing, of the natural world and the world of love, heartache and emotion. You can sense it his lyrics. But it was out West, in the quiet places that he learned to write a song. After college, he lived and worked in places like Washington, Arizona, New Mexico and Hawaii, eventually calling Colorado home for a number of years. He honed his craft in small bars in the mountains playing open mics on dark and snowy nights. Jesse has written dozens of songs over the years and in his full length recording, Transient, you will find a soulful blend of Americana, Country, Bluegrass and Rock and Roll. Stylistically, Jesse doesn’t want to be pinned down, just allowed to explore like he did for so many years out West. Jesse plays primarily acoustic guitar, mandolin and bass guitar.
