Jez inhabits a shifting sonic territory which uses layers of acoustic and electric guitar to assemble shifting soundscapes. Sometimes the music is laid bare with only one guitar and an insect chorus to fill the void; other times it is playful, emotional and inventive. His sound is reminiscent of the American Primitive style with nods towards Blues, Jazz, Folk, Psychedelia and field recordings.
