My name is Jeremy Andre but anyone that knows me well enough, knows me as Jez. As the son of an accomplished Jazz musician and teacher, I have always loved the magic that music brings to peoples lives. Sadly over the years, music and I were slowly falling out of love. Our relationship was beginning to lose the spark we once had. There just wasn't the excitement that once existed in my life.... until I heard Skrillex for the first time. Here's an artist that was producing the music I had been waiting my whole life to hear and didn't know it yet. I can honestly say that Sonny Moore changed my whole perspective on music to the point it enhanced the way I viewed life.... now, that's an artist! A guy on a laptop and whole bag full of creativity and amazing talent gave me the inspiration to do something of a similar nature.

Currently based in Cairns, singer/songwriter Jez’s debut album “Songs for a Bent, Not Broken World”, seamlessly blends catchy rock/pop/blues tunes with instruments from every corner of the globe, capped off by a blistering baritone voice which is the perfect vehicle for his intense, thought-provoking lyrics. With themes ranging from social justice and the global political landscape, through to the deeply personal, the songs from this self-produced and entirely self-performed debut offering are positively infectious and grow on you more with each listen.
