The quintessentially quirky masters of mayhem have descended into physicality to save the Earth from the impending dark disasters that dwell deliberately and dangerously below the thin veil of security and reality we all subscribe to. Well anyway, Jim Giblet's Contraband like to think of themselves as not too dissimilar to other great artists throughout history. For example, the guys in the Contraband eat food and drink water just like The Beatles did! They even play musical instruments and sing! In 2001, Jim Giblet's Contraband came third in the National Campus Bands competition, the same year Karnivool were in the final, where they thoroughly impressed the judges, including Tony Cohen(legendary Australian record producer).
