Jim Locke is a songwriter making music from his home in Ocean Grove on the Geelong/Surfcoast. With a long love of country and Americana and a playing style developed through years of live performance, he began to record his first record under his name as the lockdowns took hold in Victoria. The result is a 4 song EP, performed and recorded by Jim in his tiny home studio. The recording showcases his songwriting and musical chops, taking in influences old (Neil Young, Grateful Dead) and new (Will Oldham, Big Thief), and using his distinct voice & guitar style to spin it into something his own.
