Joel writes and records his music, usually in his bedroom, as a creative outlet, so he can play with melody and harmony, as opposed to playing a drum kit. He drums and sings backing vocals in Melbourne bands: The Velvets, Six-Shooter, Marianne Digs and Twisted Pistol, and is using the process of recording his own pieces of music, as an almost therapeutic release. He enjoys the way he can change and fiddle with his songs, at his own pace without the pressure of thinking about the money he is spending in an expensive studio. The songs that will be on this website are demo's, and they will be changed and worked upon before he releases an EP or LP. Joel wants to thank you from the bottom of his heart for listening to his creative works. He is proud of what a half-arsed drummer can achieve.
