I told a friend recently of the first time I encountered an instrument, I believe it sums up my music. When I was three and half years of the age, I wandered through the house I lived in and found a timber giant with black and white teeth inside that I'd once seen my mother dance her fingers over, and I'd heard it's grandeur. I tried to lift his lip of sitka spruce but lo & behold he bit me. My fingers caught inside his mouth, a flush face screaming, and mother well aware I'd introduced myself to the Piano. Between the Piano, and a few years later the guitar, I have been blessed with companions who have travelled with me through my life and eventually I felt the need to introduce these friends to others. I started in Brisbane at The Duke Of Edinburgh Hotel, Ric's Cafe, Samford Valley Hotel, The Red Room..then I packed my car and went to Cairns where I found solace at The Green Ant Cantina and proceeded to live and let the night times be a vent for my imagination and creation.
