Since 2019, Brisbane singer/songwriter John Keenan has made a lasting impression on industry and audiences alike. Landing the love of triple j with his debut single “If You Saw Me”, the track gained multiple spins before striking a chord with follow-up single "Tired Eyes" with Abby Butler praising the song for its “gorgeous folky beauty”. A spellbinding performer, John has played some of Brisbane’s best venues including The Triffid main stage, Black Bear and more, sharing the stage with names like Hope D, Camille Trail, Jordy Polbodetto (Selfish Sons) and more. After years of delicately honing his craft, John is re-emerging from his songwriting cave with a brand new single “Forget You”. Co-written and produced with Boy and Bear’s Tim Hart, the soulful release is already turning industry heads. With new music and live shows on the horizon for 2026, John is ready for his biggest year yet.
