John is a Newcastle born and bred singer/ songwriter who has just released his first CD titled "mesmerising". The songs on this 10 tracker are acoustic pop filled melodies with poetic lyrics that tell stories of love, hope, bravery, faith and wonder. It's self produced, honest and sincere. John has a stand out voice and an ear for great melodies. Making music has been a part of John's DNA since he was 10 years old and it flows with ease. Earliest musical memories include trying to play Chariots of Fire on the piano with both hands. He later picked up guitar (like every other 14 year old) and ignored the general consensus to learn smoke on the water and instead started writing his own acoustic tunes. A primary school teacher who decided to hand in teaching to follow his musical dreams, this is laying it all on the line. This is songwriting for the soul, tunes to listen to over a coffee when its raining outside.
