having a day job as a carpenter gives you a lot of time to think, and even write songs. Sure I write love songs but I am attracted to subjects with a little more gravel. Impending doom or as I call it "DOOM ROCK" is occupying my thoughts much these days. We need songs that examine and comment on things that are important. Much of the music that is played on triple j I call "buger picking rock", because it reminds me of a bunch of guys hanging around and picking their bugers and eating them. You hear the song and if you can make out what they are talking about, you usually don't really care. Some hide the message so well that you never really quite know what it is about, so what is the point. So come on Triple J, lets hear some songs about people that die from drug use, or the fact that we are afraid that the world is on the edge because of materialism, the religion of the first world.
