Johnny Law’s ever evolving style encompasses the great sounds of the 1950's with styles such as Americana, Rockabilly, Country and Rock and Roll with a distinct Mexican influence. He hails originally from Perth, but has traveled extensively and has become an eternal traveler, constantly developing and absorbing influences and inspiration from the global music community. As a result Johnny’s style has matured over the years and features retro stylings shaken up like a dirty martini - with an eclectic and unbounded vibe.

Formed back in 2001 as Johnny Law & the Hellfire Trio after a name change and a number of originals they began to create a buzz in the live music Perth scene. After a few years of shows and 2 CDs the band packed up to tour Germany and record a new CD including a few shows in the US, the band is now taking a short break to seek other musical interests and hope to return to the live scene once again in the near future.
