Jon Collins was an outsider in the music world working as a corporate player for half a decade before deciding to shift his story into the public eye, and claim the recognition of his desires. In those years he amassed skills in composition, production, performance, band work, and the story telling. This is his story. Jon produces a sound he enjoys. He works hard over the years to push his skills to match his tastes. Mainly drawing on the mixing, writing and arrangement of the soul and funk classics of yesteryear, Jon produces a sound that strays from the regular pop programming, in a prolific, and abundant fashion. Some say he bleeds basslines. He arranges a band of tight players that exude groove and eat rhythm for breakfast. We know they're entertaining, you can find out for yourself. Watch it. @thejoncollins
