The golden voice and easy-listening music of Jon Vea Vea are well known at markets, festivals, and community events on Fraser Coast, Bundaberg, and Eidsvold. As a songwriter, he is willing to tackle the deeper issues of humanity such as search for identity, mental health, and destruction of the environment. Jon Vea Vea is proud of his Australian Aboriginal heritage through his grandfather Harry Davis, Cobble Cobble clan (Barunggam speaking country). His ancestors lived from Warra Warra Lagoon, Condamine River, Jimbour, Dalby, Chinchilla, to western slopes of Bunya Mountains following the songline to Mau Baulan (Mt Mowballan). Jon is also proudly Australian South Sea Islander through his grandmother Annie Ober.
