Jones jnr is the coming together of Sydney heavyweight producer DJ Morgs ( Thundamentals ) and singer Ev Jones. Together they traverse a unique blend of old soul, hip hop and post modern percussive landscapes. All the while showcasing Ev’s heartfelt vocals, be they belting ‘Sam & Dave’ esq choruses or floating somewhere near a frail, velvety ‘Curtis Mayfield’ falsetto. After sharing the stage with the likes ofMark Ronson, Jill Scott, Kelis, and Charles Bradley over the past few years, Jones jnr. are excited to share new music with the world in 2019. The boys commented ‘We feel like the songs that are coming this year are our strongest and most realizedwork to date. We couldn’t be more proud and pumped tofinally share it, look out!”
