Joni's. Plastic. Sunday. Joni's Plastic Sunday, you need to say it twice to get your head around it, but once it's in your head you wont forget it! This Hobart trio formed two years ago and has already made a name for themselves in the Tasmanian music scene. A mish-mash of different musical backgrounds has produced a tight and interesting alternative rock sound that is as unique as their name. These lads have a diverse sound that spans many genres and there is no finger big enough to put squarely on it, but you could say it was like Jeff Buckley covering Muse and remixed by Pendulum. Taking out the first prize in The First Harvest competition in 2008 it seems that their hard work is paying off. Their self-titled EP was released last October.
