Haven't we all been through it all. Thrown straight on the piano in pre-school, with quitting and rejoining as a personal trait up until now. I am truly in the debt of a dear friend who got me addicted to guitar in 2006 with many repercussions to follow. The songs and thoughts secretly flowed from there. After gaining a place at the Queensland Academy for Creative Industries in 2007, music now became a gigantic boulder in my front yard. As a finalist in the Under 18 category of the fRETfEST Acoustic Music Festival in 2007, I was opening up to the masses. Fate and the good folk at fRETfEST gave me the chance to perform at Southbank and the absolute pinnacle- The Woodford Folk Festival, on the very first day of 2008. I am very conscious that music cannot be made by one person alone. I spend a lot of time jamming with other musicians in the hope that they can bring me to musical peace- a state of temporary self-realisation in oneself. My songs are completely introverted.
