Hailing from the streets of Melbourne, Jono is a rapper/producer that strives to stand out. With heavy inspirations from the likes of J. Cole, Biggie Smalls & Mos Def to name a few, his focus on thought provoking lyricism and witty word-play truly shines through in his productions, tackling controversial topics such as racial profiling and gun control. However, Jono is far from a one trick pony. His ability to appeal to the masses can be seen from his more commercial records such as Summer In Brazil & Right 4 Me, and his broad knowledge of various music styles allows him to execute these excellently both in his beat production and bars. Be sure to keep an ear out for Jono, you very well may be hearing it in the years to come.
