Josh Arent is an emerging indie artist from Byron Bay NSW, a guitarist, singer/songwriter and producer. Arent's debut album 'Eye For An Eye' (released Nov) has an original fresh style that is hard to confine in one genre. Nominated for Dolphin Music Awards 'Album Of The Year' 2014, 'Eye For An Eye' is a hypnotic guitar-driven journey of folk-rock ballads and instrumentals. The album explores emotive spaces with acoustic-electro fusion, layered guitars, dreamy vocals and soaring vocal harmonies, featuring Australian indie artists Declan Kelly (Diesel 'n Dub), Stuart Fergie (OKA), Luke Ferguson, Mel Dobra & Brooke Francisco. In addition to ‘Album of the Year’ nomination, ’Like The Wind’ (track 10) was also nominated for Electronica, and the title track ’Eye For An Eye’ in the Protest category. The album is available on iTunes, Spotify, CD Baby and Bandcamp.
