Josie Bakker is a Sydney-based singer/songwriter with a passion for inspiring people to be their most authentic selves. Whether it be from connecting with people through performance, sharing songs online and writing stories within her originals. She is currently set to release her first EP in 2024, which will be a manifestation of the way she has healed through relationships and connection all parts of herself. She has spent almost a decade developing her folky, pop-alternative sound through various collaborations and performances, consistently writing songs and gaining inspiration from surrendering to her own journey of healing and self-discovery. Her voice exudes a silvery, angelic tone that really shines through her soulful lyrics communicating the light, dark and in between of our human experience on this earth.
